TY Beanie Baby 1997 Rainbow The Chameleon - Fabric Error - Dark Blue IGGY
Fabric 1997 RETIRED 5th Gen. PVC PELLETS. No tongue variation.
MADE BEFORE 1998 w/PVC Pellets! In 1998, Ty Inc. decided to stop stuffing

RARE Ty Beanie Baby Rainbow Chameleon
Made with the wrong fabric! Fabric used was for Iggy, not Rainbow. Rainbow is
supposed to be a red, green, blue and yellow mix. This error is reinforced by
the poem that states the colors Rainbow should be, but this rare error is not.
Great condition Rainbow The Beanie Baby with tag protector. 5th Generation
Hangtag and 6th Generation Tush Tag.
Date Of Birth: October 14, 1997
POEM:
Red, green, blue and yellow
This chameleon is a colorful fellow.
A blend of colors, his own unique hue
Rainbow was made especially for you!
Collectors note
Rainbow was released on July 1st, 1998.
His birthday is on October 14, 1997.
There are two versions of Rainbow. There is this rainbow tie-dyed chameleon
with a red tongue and a blue version without a tongue. This variation came out
a month before the blue version.
Rainbow is very similar in appearance to Iggy the iguana. So much so that the
Ty production team sometimes put an Iggy tush or swing tag on Rainbow and
Rainbow swing or tush tags on Iggy by mistake.
