Vintage Steiff Jocko Monkey stuffed toy that is made of Brown Mohair and Felt
and stuffed with straw. He was made in Germany and brought to the U.S., circa
1950s to 1960s according to the person from whom we purchased; however, the
straw stuffing indicates he could have been made earlier. His legs and arms are
jointed and can be easily moved and posed. We were told that he was made by
Steiff but he does not have a tag.

The head swivels almost 360 degrees. His eyes are plastic and his ears, feet,
hands, and face are a light beige felt. This mischievous little guy has a great
expression, original eyes and a grimacing face.

This adorable Jocko Monkey has been well-loved and played with often giving
him all the character and charm adored by vintage lovers. The felt on his nose
is worn off and you can see the straw stuffing. Some little child drew a cross
on his forehead with a black marker (it looks like). His fur has a few worn
patches but he has no rips or tears sits adorably on a shelf. He's as lovable
as can be and would really love to be adopted by a special person who
appreciates his beauty and charm.

Measures approximately 12 inches long.
