The first bus we made was after a request by our own daughter, with a drawing:
"Daddy, can you make this for me?" It looked beautiful: and a great idea!
Sometime later we had our large wooden bus: Handcrafted from solid wood and
with 3/8" (10mm) plywood sides, it is very sturdy. The steel and rubber wheels
used are professional hand pallet truck wheels with 70kg capacity each :) Fun
for many generations!

You can purchase the bus now with 2 benches ("van" in the dropdown menu) or 3
("bus" in the drop down menu). The van fits 18" / 45cm dolls looking forward;
the bus fits them as well ... but sideways. Some kids do not mind to have an
overcrowded bus as you can see on the pictures )

The bus/ van can be purchased both untreated and treated. It can be great fun
to paint it yourself: Picture 8 shows how my daughter finished her bus herself.
If you would like a treated bus, please check the possible colors with us and
confirm it with your order.

Other toy vehicles are shown on the pictures as well. Please see our doll
vehicle section for these or ask us about them.

The external sizes are (total length x width x height):
25.5 x 15.3 x 16.5 inch or 65x39x42cm. The inside width of all vehicles is
11-3/4 inch or 30cm.

The vehicles can be used both indoors as well as outside, but they should be
kept from rain, snow and mud.

Please note that standard shipping is surface shipping, which can take 5-8
weeks to North America and Australia and 2 weeks within Europe. The shipping
upgrade uses Air priority. This takes on average 2 weeks to North America /
Australia.

Depending on your country and the shipping method, the bus is sent either as
an assembled unit or in several easy to assemble pieces. Please contact me if
you want to be sure you receive your bus in one assembled piece.
