That is a photograph of me at age 5 on Midnight 63 years ago!
I painted a small model of him! What a wonderful memory for me!
Let me recreate your horses' markings so that you can enjoy it too.

***The vintage model in WHITE is what I will paint for you

I take old vintage Breyer Horse models that have been previously loved and
played with. I sand the old scuffed-up paint off and apply several coats of
paint primer on the horse.
That is what you see pictured here in white.

After you purchase the pose that you want just send me in the messages
pictures of your horse. I like seeing both sides, the face, rump, and legs. But
I can work from what you give me.

**Important... I am painting with a brush NOT an airbrush. There will be a
textured coat of paint and NOT smooth. I like the feeling of the texture
because it mimics the texture of the horses' coat. see photos of my finished
horses.

Before I varnish, I will send you photos for your approval and can make any
changes at that point.

After approval, I put several coats of finishing varnish. It takes several
days to dry.

This whole process should take One to Two weeks. Allow extra time around
Christmas.

Artist Statement: Susan Sorrentino
I have been an artist all of my life. I received my Bach. of Fine arts degree
from the Univ. of Florida. in USA. I make wearable art and objects of art.
Mixed media is my preferred materials. I also paint both on canvas and
garments. I sell my art thru select art galleries and better specialty shops.
For 28 years I sold directly to the public at juried fine art street festivals
throughout the USA. In 2014, I was forced to retire from shows for health
issues. I am so pleased to be able to sell my art directly to my art patrons
here in my Etsy shop.
My love for Vintage items stems from the fact that my MOM was an antique
dealer for 45 years. She is no longer here, but I still love the hunt and
discovery and reselling of Vintage. I gained a lot of knowledge just from
helping her all of my life. I am happy to offer my FINDS here. It makes me feel
close to MOM.
